Paid late? They owe you more than the invoice.
UK law adds interest at 8% over base rate to every business invoice paid late, plus £40 to £100 in compensation. Most businesses never claim it. We find it in your invoices and chase it for you.
Your right under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, for any business selling to another business or a public body.

Base rate of 3.75% on 31 Dec 2025 plus 8%, fixed for this invoice.
Check every invoice at once
Export your sales invoices as a CSV from Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Sage or a spreadsheet. It needs the invoice total, the due date and the date each one was paid. Add the customer name to see who owes what.
Or drop the file here. It's read in your browser and never leaves your device.
We do the chasing, you get paid
No subscription and nothing up front. Our fee only comes out of money that actually arrives.
Connect your accounts
Give us read-only access to Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent or Sage, or send an export. We look at invoices and payment dates, nothing else.
We work out what each customer owes
Every late invoice from the last six years, at the rate the law fixed for it, plus the fixed compensation.
You choose who to chase
Leave current customers off the list if you'd rather keep things friendly. It's your call, customer by customer.
We send formal claims in your business name
Clear letters setting out the law, the invoices and the amounts, with follow-ups until each one is settled or closed.
Customers pay you directly
We invoice 25% of what's recovered. If nothing is recovered, you pay nothing.
The rules, in plain English
- Who can claim
- Any business supplying goods or services to another business or a public body. It doesn't apply to sales to consumers.
- When an invoice is late
- The day after the agreed due date. If no date was agreed, 30 days after the customer gets the invoice or the work is delivered, whichever is later.
- The interest rate
- 8% plus the Bank of England base rate on 31 December, for interest that starts between January and June, or on 30 June, for July to December. It stays fixed for that invoice until it's paid.
- Fixed compensation
- £40 for debts under £1,000, £70 from £1,000 to £9,999.99, and £100 for £10,000 or more. You can claim it once per late payment, plus reasonable costs of recovering the debt.
- How far back you can go
- Generally six years in England and Wales, and five in Scotland.
- When it doesn't apply
- If your contract sets its own late payment remedy and it's a substantial one, that applies instead. The Commercial Payments Bill, now going through Parliament, would stop contracts excluding the right to statutory interest.
